Guest House of the Federal Government

The Federal Government often hosts heads of state and government from around the world. Usually, the Chancellor welcomes his guests at the Federal Chancellery in Berlin. However, some discussions require a more personal atmosphere. In such cases, Schloss Meseberg is the perfect location. Here, heads of state and government and their delegations can conduct confidential discussions and challenging negotiations. The baroque castle gardens invite leisurely walks between meetings.

Please note: Schloss Meseberg is exclusively used by the Federal Government and is not open to the public. Once a year, the Federal Government invites visitors to an open house at its guesthouse.

Meseberg is located 70 kilometers north of Berlin and is a district of the town of Gransee. The village has 150 inhabitants. Directly adjacent to the castle grounds is the Huwenowsee.
